Situated right at district 19, you will find the Ola EC in between two LRT stations – Cheng Lim and Farmway, with the former situated slightly closer to the property.
With a tenure of 99 years commencing from 14 December 2018, the Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) is estimated to be ready by December 2023. The official legal completion date will most likely be in December 2026.

Why should you choose to stay at the Ola EC?
1. Accessibility to public transports
As you’ve probably read at the start of this article, Ola EC is parked in the middle of Cheng Lim and Farmway LRT stations. Cheng Lim LRT station is only one stop away via the Sengkang LRT Line to Sengkang MRT station, where you can access the North-East Line.
To get to Cheng Lim LRT station, you literally have to walk for only three minutes! It’s about 250m away from the property. Or if you’re in the mood to tread a little further, Sengkang MRT station is only about a 10-minute walk away.
As you can see, Ola EC is situated in a really convenient location if you’re planning to tap on public transportation to get to work or play.
There are a few bus stops in the vicinity but the nearest ones has got to be the two along Anchorvale Crescent, with bus 374.
Cross the road and head to the opposite side (before Anchorvale Street, Stop ID: 67641) to catch the bus to Sengkang General Hospital, Sengkang Community Hub, and the last stop – Compassvale Interchange.
Compassvale Interchange is where Sengkang MRT station and Compass One shopping mall is sited at. We shall go into more details in our next point.
2. Grocery, shopping and services
To get some groceries, you can head to either of these supermarkets in the neighbourhood – Prime Supermarket at 263 Compassvale Street or Sheng Siong Supermarket at 338 Anchorvale Crescent. Both places are within 700m from Ola EC.
For a wider range of options and to get some shopping and services ticked off your to-do-list, you can make a trip down to Compass One shopping mall. Compass One has Cold Storage, another grocery shopping option near Ola EC.
You will also find many other malls within a 10-minute drive from the property for your shopping and errand-running needs – The Seletar Mall, Greenwich V, Buangkok square mall, Rivervale Plaza, Rivervale Mall, Punggol Plaza, Oasis Terraces, and Waterway Point.
3. Food options
There are two hawker centres just across Ola EC – Koufu and Happy Hawkers at Sengkang General Hospital. Or you can also take a 8-minute walk to 329B Food Court at 35 Anchorvale Street.
Of course, more choices await you at Compass One shopping mall – My Briyani House, Yoshinoya, and Old Street Bak Kut Teh. To satisfy the sweet tooth, get a cuppa at Starbucks, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, KOI, or Gong Cha.

Buangkok Integrated Development
By 2025, residents of the North-East region can look forward to public spaces for community and social events to take place at. There will also be a mixed-use development consisting of a train station, a bus interchange, community club, hawker centre, and retail shops.
Better connectivity with new rail lines
The Cross Island Line (CRL) will greatly benefit you if you’re planning to purchase a unit at Ola EC. With its completion timeline set for 2029, residents will be able to enjoy better connectivity via the North-East Line at Punggol and Hougang MRT stations by then.
As we’ve seen at the start of the article, Ola EC is situated close to Sengkang MRT station. Both Punggol and Hougang MRT stations are within stops from Sengkang MRT station.
With that said, Pasir Ris MRT station is just three stops away from Punggol MRT station via the Cross Island Line (CRL). From Hougang MRT station, you will find yourself just three train stops away to Ang Mo Kio MRT station (North-South Line) and five train stops away to Bright Hill MRT station (Thomson-East Coast Line)!
